STUPID television. It all started last week when the first X Men movie was on TV. Then, it was on again the next day. And again. And again.
Of course I watched it every single time. I "aaaawed" over Rogue and Logan's relationship, (cuz who calls Rogue Marie anyway?) for the first time began to realize that the guy who plays Scott Summers is actually hot, (I guess my type has changed) and kept not understanding why Jean wasn't jumping Logan's bones (Hugh Jackman makes one hot Wolverine, and let's face it, Wolverine is not hot. At five foot three and weighing 300 lbs the guy is a sack of meat. Yeah.)

This also made me realize that most of my X Men knowledge comes from the old school cartoon and the evolution series from years and years back.
And as far as comics go, I've only read a handful of them, (Deadpool being among the mix so I don't know if that counts).

I decided to revisit my childhood and watch a bunch of X Men cartoons, AND IT HAS TAKEN OVER MY BRAIN.

I've drawn a crapton of Lance and Kitty fanart. Just four today. Seriously? Seriously. Best (and nonsensical) couple ever.
Also, Lance is one sexy mofo. Whether he's a boy or a girl, he rocks it.

Nightcrawler and Gambit are so badass. In the old school series, Gambit, Rogue, and Jean Grey make that show.
And does Cyclops not remind anyone else of Ken? As in, Barbie doll Ken?


Anyway. Long story short (or short story made long?) look forward to a bit of X Men fanart being posted here soon.
